(English) We are very pleased to announce that Scott Marcus, Professor of North Indian and Middle Eastern music and performance practice, Arab music theory, North Indian folk music (tuning and temperament) has joined the Academic Board of NEMO-Online. Scott Marcus is the Founder and Director of the UCSB Middle East Ensemble and the Music of India (sitar) Ensemble. He is a member of UCSB’s Center for Middle East Studies and past Board member of the Society for Ethnomusicology and the Society for Asian Music. NEMO-Online has published this new bibliography of Musical Scales, Acoustics, Temperament and Tuning. It is intended as a  complement to other specialized biographies also published by NEMO-Online, and is not exhaustive. It mainly includes references to ethnomusicological debates on the problematics  of the scale, instrumental tuning and  perception of  intervals. Music perception is temporarily restricted  to topics directly relevant to scale or temperament.
